SuperStraight also known as, "Thermal Reconditioning", "Yuko System", or "Japanese Straightening" is originally from Japan, where it is best known as "Iron Straightening".
Most people who have wavy or curly hair, dream to someday have straight hair like Jennifer Anniston and Nicole Kidman. The Japanese population has always been extremely interested in hair straightening treatments since almost 90% of Japanese people have wavy or curly hair. For this reason the Japanese have an extremely advanced knowledge of hair straightening techniques.
The original Japanese straightening treatment was developed 18 years ago after a Japanese inventor was inspired by the product "Straightner" by Wella, Germany. Soon after the original Japanese treatment, many companies worked to develop better straightening processes for wavy hair.
After many different experiments with hair straightening techniques "Big Nobashi", was developed and became very popular among Japanese salons. Most of the old style straightening treatments such as "Big Nobashi" tend to damage hair because of the contents of the chemical solutions.
Almost five years ago, "Iron Straightening" was born. This new process uses flat thermal irons during treatment. It is amazingly effective because the thermal iron allows the moisture from the treatment solutions to deeply penetrate the hair, thus reducing the damage done to your hair while providing a super silky straight look.
